Proprietary Sources - Companies selling their own branded Countdown Calendars

  • Bonne Maman - The calendar that kicked off 2022’s unboxings! A limited edition, the Bonne Maman calendar sells out every year. Don’t wait!

  • The Republic of Tea Twelve Days of Sipping - Contains 24 tea bags with The Republic of Tea’s unique, sustainable packaging, two each of twelve flavors. Enough to share with a friend!

  • Sephora Wishing You - Twenty-four days of make-up and skin-care in a festive package. Wishing You, available online only, is an excellent budget option at about $45, much more affordable than many other beauty calendars. Sephora offers another version with six days of surprises, aimed at the period between Christmas and New Year’s.

  • The Body Shop Share the Love - Enjoy The Body Shop’s iconic product line in a re-usable vanity table treasure box. One of two countdown calendars offered this year, Share the Love offers a premium Advent calendar experience with a mid-range price, including a number of full-size products.

  • NYX Cosmetics - A limited edition 24 day calendar full of cruelty-free products for eyes, lips, and face.

General Purveyors - Retailers with multiple branded and non-branded options

  • Cost Plus World Market - Resells The Republic of Tea and the Bonne Maman calendars, as well as calendars for pets, ramen fans, hot sauce aficionados, and all kinds of specialty interests. Worth a look for sure!

  • Williams-Sonoma - Sells multiple options focused on food, cooking, and baking.

  • Uncommon Goods - From shower steamers to needlepoint to caramels, there are several choices for countdowns to satisfy the most particular Advent fans.

Sweets and Treats - Candy, Cookies and Sweets for the Sweeties

  • Cadbury’s Heroes - Cadbury offers several Advent calendars each year and, above all, this is our favorite. Filled with candy and chocolate we can’t easily obtain in the states, it’s the calendar my family’s chocoholics share each year. Because this calendar must ship from abroad, don’t wait to order!

  • Walker’s Shortbread - A limited edition, Walker’s shortbread Advent calendar showcases the very best of the world famous cookie. This calendar doesn’t have a lot of variety, featuring three or four types and shapes of shortbread throughout the month, but what it includes is wonderfully delicious.

Calendars for Adults - Countdowns for Grown-Ups

  • In Good Taste Wine Advent Calendar - In Good Taste’s clever packaging and tasty wine make for a truly enjoyable Christmas countdown experience. There are no duplicates through the month, making for 24 unique tasting experiences across three labels. This calendar exceeded our expectations and offers a great value at about $150, including a sturdy, re-usable box (great for Christmas ornaments!) and a virtual tasting experience.
